GuardMyPad technology is made possible by WebRTC. Browsers on iOS (even iOS Chrome) are built using Apple's browser technology which - currently - does not support WebRTC. IOS11 should support WebRTC and by that time, GuardMyPad should be in public beta.
GUARDING Back

Guarding can begin as soon as a camera is connected to the GuardMyPad application. Connected cameras can stream content, detect motion and audio, record video and images, and send real-time alerts.

  • Compatible. You may guard your space with full functionality using cameras on the device you're using. Incompatible. The browser you're currently using does not provide access to attached cameras. GuardMyPad can access cameras connected to this device, but streaming will not work. Video recording is not supported on the browser you're using. Note that iOS devices (iPhones and iPads) are not currently supported. Note that GuardMyPad works best with the latest version of Chrome.

DATA TRANSFER Back

When using device storage, your media doesn't leave your device. This means that if your device is stolen or broken, your media may be lost. Data transfer solves this problem by enabling your devices to share data with one another.

  • Compatible. The browser you're using is able to send captured media to your other devices. Note that this feature is experimental. Incompatible. The browser you're using is unable to transfer captured media to your other devices.
